Molnár Zsolt MSZP-s politikus az Inforádió Aréna című műsorában azt mondta, nem szeretné, ha szembejönne velünk Európa, ezért jó pártja porgramja és az abban kínált megoldási javaslatok az ország ügyeinek intézésére.

As Hungarians prepare for the next general election in a few weeks time, the political temperature is rising. Already, the first salvos in what is likely to be an acrimonious campaign have been fired, although as of yet there have been few casualties.

For the past four years, the Hungarian Left-Liberal opposition have told us that they are going to win the next election. This boast is now no more than a hollow and bad taste joke.

A közvéleméynkutatások rendre azt mutatják, hogy a magyar baloldal népszerűsége nem nő döntően az elkövetkezendő választások előtt. A magyar baloldal nincs különleges helyzetben abban a tekintetben, hogy maguk a baloldali (szociáldemokrata) mozgalmak egész Európában hullámvölgyben vannak.

The political opposition in Hungary is dead in the water. Despite having over three years to regroup after the disastrous election result of 2010, it has singularly failed to do so.

A magyar baloldal a demokratikus ellenzék. A magyar baloldal nyugatos és polgári. A magyar kormány dilettáns, félrekezeli a válságot, kivezeti az országot Európából. A rezsicsökkentés fenntarthatatlan, helytelen lépés, egy átverés. Mindazok akik elégedetlenek a helyzettel Londonba mennek kávét főzni, pizzát sütni – igazából pedig Londonban nőtt a munkavállalók száma, nem Magyarországon.

Augusztus 20-a kapcsán, az István a király Alföldi Róbert által rendezett évfordulós bemutatója után cikkek és interjúk tömege jelent meg a rendezésről, annak koncepciójáról, mondanivalójáról, üzenetéről. Megszólalt maga a szerző Szörényi Levente is, aki egy helyütt azt mondta, hogy tulajdonképpen beszorultunk a korona alá.

In recent days, the Socialists and the recently manufactured party of former Prime Minister Gordon Bajnai have cobbled together an electoral pact of sorts. Agreement has been reached on the division of seats available to each for contesting in the next election and agreement on mutual support, where appropriate.

I just observed the European Commission’s Viviane Reding defend herself at a press conference in Brussels on the subject of her attendance at this year’s Bilderberg Conference.
The Commissioner, responding to criticisms from several quarters that she used the Bilderberg event to interfere in Hungary’s internal affairs – including, it is reported, a suggestion of political bias – denied that she had done any such thing. However, when asked to open up and explain what was said or discussed, Ms Reding refused, citing the need to respect the ‘Chatham House Rules’ that applied to the Bilderberg discussions.
